Here is the brief write-up of the challenge —Snow Man

This challenge falls under Forensic Category and is of Easy Difficulty level.

The challenge contains an attached text file, which contains a poem. Here we have to find the flag from this text. It is given in the description of the challenge “Read the challenge name again” . So this is sort of hint for us to solve the challenge.

Initially we need to find which tool is to be used in this challenge as the name of the challenge specifies, we can use stegsnow tool to find the flag, but we need to find the password, as it is necessary for using this tool. For finding the password we need to check the given text file , “the password is thisiseasy” is given in the poem, so considering “thisiseasy” as password and using stagsnow tool on the text file will give the flag.

So we get a base64 sting which has to be converted to ASCII string.
